Plants Save You Money
Plants save money by temperature regulation and improved air quality.
As well as the very real savings from having a happy, healthy and content workforce, plants also offer bottom line operational savings. Because plants help cool the air around them, large indoor plants are highly effective at reducing temperature through shading, this in turn reduces heating and air conditioning expenses. Other savings can be made in relation to air quality control. Research carried out in the USA has demonstrated that plants attract high levels of dust and pollutants. Particulate levels can be reduced by as much as 20 percent. This can assist with reducing the amount of air cleaners required in a building. There is also a body of research emerging from Australia and the USA that shows interior plants are effective in removing a range of pollutants at relatively low planting densities in office situations.
